Window installation

New and replacement windows and sliding doors, surveyed, supplied and fitted by the same team. Level, square, properly sealed and left clean.

Window and door types we install

We help you choose the opening style that suits the room, how you want to clean it, and how much ventilation and security you need.

Casement windows

Side or top hung. Simple, secure and easy to seal against rain.

Sliding windows

Space-saving aluminium or uPVC sliders with smooth rollers and secure locks.

Tilt-and-turn

Tilts for ventilation, swings fully open for cleaning from inside.

Fixed picture windows

Large panes for views and daylight where opening is not needed.

Sliding and folding doors

Wide glazed openings to balconies, terraces and gardens.

Glass partitions

Framed and frameless internal glazing for offices and homes.

Room with a newly installed window frame

It starts with an accurate survey

A well-made window fitted into a badly measured opening will leak and stick. We measure every opening at several points, check that walls are plumb, and note the condition of the surrounding plaster and sills.

You then receive a written quote with the frame material, glass specification, opening style, hardware, colour and fitting details, so you know exactly what you are getting.

On installation day

Most homes have new windows fitted in one or two days. Each opening is removed and replaced in turn, so rooms are never left open overnight.

1

Protect and prepare

Furniture is moved or covered, floors protected and the work area cordoned off.

2

Remove the old frame

Old windows are taken out carefully to limit damage to plaster and render.

3

Fit and fix

New frames are packed level and square, then fixed into the structure.

4

Seal and finish

Expanding foam, trims and silicone seal the joint inside and out.

5

Adjust and test

Sashes and locks are adjusted so every opening moves freely and closes tight.

6

Clean and hand over

Glass is cleaned, debris removed, and you are shown how to operate and care for the windows.

Choosing a frame material

uPVC

Good insulation, low maintenance and cost-effective. Suits most homes and apartments.

Keep in mind: Choose reinforced profiles for large openings and hot, sunny walls.

Aluminium

Slim, strong frames that carry large panes. Ideal for sliding doors and modern facades.

Keep in mind: Thermally broken profiles reduce heat transfer and condensation.

Timber

Warm, traditional appearance that can be repainted and repaired for decades.

Keep in mind: Needs periodic painting or staining to stay weather-tight.

Sliding glass doors

A sliding door is the window people use most, so it needs smooth rollers, a well-drained track and a lock that engages without force. We install two, three and four-panel systems, with optional fly screens and low thresholds for easier access.
